SecureConnect provides a flexible remote access solution providing
users with clientless access to either cloud or internal network
resources. Built on industry leading Juniper Networks SSL VPN
technology, customers gain best of breed security combined with a
high level of management from Quantix.
Through a set of granular controls the service allows customers
to determine the remote access "experience" of the user depending
on variables such as the machine, user or location. These security
controls allow our customers to conduct the following example tests
before granting access to applications:
- Does the user have the correct corporate security software
installed on their machine?
- Is it up to date?
- Are there any Trojans or malware programs running on the users
machine?
- Is the user connecting from a company owned or personal
laptop?
- Is the user connecting from a company location?
Answers to questions such as the above will determine which
applications the user is allowed to connect to. For example, you
may wish provisioned an amended application set if the user is
connecting from an un-trusted machine rather than their company
laptop. Or if a third partner support company is trying to access
your network with out of date AV software, they may only get read
only system access.
Secure Connect delivers lower cost of ownership by reducing
